Colors Urban Art Festival from September 6 to 22, 2024 in Strasbourg
After welcoming nearly 80 artists in various venues, the contemporary urban art festival COLORS Urban Art is moving towards a new format for its 6th edition. Returning to the Ateliers Eclairés, the 2024 edition will give more space to each artist, who will be entrusted with even larger surfaces than in previous years. For the occasion, the site will be completely cleared and reinvested. Works from previous years will give way to brand-new ones, offering a real immersion in the universe of the 6 international artists invited for this edition: Jaune (Belgium), Iota (Belgium), Nuno Viegas (Portugal), Zane Prater (Germany), Dawal (France) and Nubian (France).
More than just a festival, COLORS Urban Art has become a veritable artists' residency. Indeed, the COLORS Urban Art teams have always attached great importance to supporting the artists and taking particular care to welcome them during the weeks leading up to the festival. This period of in situ creation, when artists who sometimes don't yet know each other work side by side on their respective works, is an opportunity for them to meet, exchange ideas and share techniques. These collective moments, including meals and the discovery of each other's work, give rise to ideas and sometimes to future collaborations - moments that are always enriching!
This edition of the COLORS Urban Art Festival will be punctuated throughout its 3 opening weekends by various highlights: live performances, a conference and also battles where the public will be asked to decide between the participants! The wooden wagon, which has already been used to support a number of COLORS Urban Art Festival events, will be at the heart of these events.
An "Hors les murs" program will also be on offer in a number of towns across Alsace. Program coming soon....

Opening times: Saturdays from 2pm to 8pm and Sundays from 11am to 7pm.
